The union representing 58 Essex County library workers on strike says talks are set to resume at the end of the month.

Three days have been set aside for bargaining with the help of a mediator in an effort to try and bring an end to the strike.

The news comes as the strike approaches 150 days in length.

Back in October New Democrat MPP Taras Natyshak is called on the Premier to offer any resources available to end the work stoppage.

The main stumbling block remains a proposed change in sick time policy.
