Windsor police confirm that a child abduction did not take place Sunday afternoon.
Originally, police said a 7 year-old child was playing with a group of children in Pykes Park in the 5400 block of Lassaline Avenue around 1:15 pm. Sunday.
The children claim a large white car pulled up and a male took the girl and drove off.
The children gave slightly different variations of the story.
But through their investigation, police say an abduction didn't occur.
Police want to thank the public for their help in the investigation.
