The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man was found unresponsive in a work truck Tuesday afternoon.
Ministry spokesperson Janet Deline says they were contacted by LaSalle police at about 2:33 p.m. that a worker from Tamar Building Products had been found unresponsive in a work vehicle parked on the side of a road.
Emergency services were contacted and the worker was transported to hospital.
Deline say the worker was subsequently pronounced deceased, but the cause of death has not been confirmed.
A MOL inspector has been assigned and is en route to the scene.
Police are also investigating the incident on Maple Street at Front Road. Police say the man was in his 20’s.
Maple is closed and people are asked to avoid the area.
