The first snowfall in Windsor-Essex is creating problems to area roads.
The eastbound Highway 401 from Ojibway Park to Highway 3 was closed late Thursday afternoon due to multiple collisions.
No word on the extent of the injuries.
It reopened around 6:30 p.m.
Several motorists and emergency services personal took to social media to report slick road conditions in LaSalle and other parts of the region.

Snow left a good dusting on roads and sidewalks in the Windsor area. While not an appreciable amount - it gave us a taste of things to come.
Winter doesn't officially arrive until Dec. 21.
