Windsor police are continuing their investigation into a fatal east end crash.
Officers conducted interviews Monday, as they piece together what caused the fatal crash on Lauzon Road. CTV News has learned that 20-year-old Katie Leigh Robson of LaSalle was the deceased victim in the collision.
The crash happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Friday between McHugh Street and Tranby Avenue. Police arrived to find a Chevrolet Blazer on its roof in the northbound lanes of Lauzon Road. A Chevrolet Impala was found several blocks away with a flat tire.
Robson was a passenger in the Blazer and she was pronounced dead on scene. Several others were injured.
Kyle Matthew Colthurst, 28, the driver of the Impala, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and refusing to provide a breath sample.
The driver of the Blazer, 22-year-old Calvin Joseph Crosby, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
