The investigation continues after a house fire in LaSalle Wednesday morning.
LaSalle firefighters continues to battle hot spots at the house on Short Malden Road. Officials say it broke out around 7 a.m.
Five people made it out safely, but are now homeless.
The cause is still unknown. LaSalle Fire says the blaze started outside of home and spread quickly to rest of house.
Damage is pegged at $200,000.
