Nearby boaters helped pull three people from the water after their canoe flipped over in the Detroit River.

Windsor police were called to the river near the Solidarity Towers Condominium in the 8800 block of

Riverside Drive East around 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

Police say two men and a woman, all in their early 20's were brought to shore. They were

cleared medically and did not require any medical attention.

The U.S. Coast Guard was cancelled from attending the area once the people were pulled out.
