Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a single vehicle crash left a 51-year-old woman with life threatening injuries.
The collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Erie Shore Drive just outside of Erie Beach.
Police say the female driver from Amherstburg lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a ditch.
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and transferred to London for further treatment.
The collision remains under investigation by the CKPS Traffic Management Section.
