Windsor Police say a worker was sent to hospital after an I-beam in a machine shop fell onto his leg.
It happened just before 11 a.m. Friday.
The Ministry of Labour say the worker was employed by CMF Group and was installing a new piece of machinery at Service Mold and Aerospace on St. Etienne Boulevard.
A ministry investigator has been assigned to examine what happened.
Police say while the injuries appear serious, officers don’t believe they are life-threatening.
