Windsor-Essex residents are encouraged to consider staycation

From craft beer to birding and biking, tourism officials say there are plenty of options for Windsor-Essex residents considering a staycation instead of an out-of-town vacation this year.

The Windsor Essex Staycation Expo, in partnership with Devonshire Mall, is encouraging local residents to explore their own backyard.

Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island officials say the expo will help residents learn from experts and discover things to do and places to see throughout the region.  

TWEPI also launched the official 2016/2017 Visitor Guide on Friday morning.
