Windsor police are searching for a male suspect after a robbery at the Mac's Convenience Store at 991 Ouellette Avenue.
Officers were called to the store around 8:50 p.m. on Thursday for reports that a robbery had occurred, but police were not able to locate a suspect.
An investigation has found as the suspect approached the counter he lifted his shirt to show a handgun tucked into his waistband.
He reportedly then obtained some tobacco produces and a small amount of cash before leaving the store on foot and heading southbound toward Erie Street.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old with short brown hair that slightly longer in the back.
At the time he was wearing a white and black patterned handkerchief over his face, a baby blue t-shirt with a small black logo just under shirt collar, dark blue jeans with embroidery on rear pockets, white running shoes, a black baseball cap with a curved brim and a silver logo on the front, sunglasses and a black wristwatch on his left wrist.
