Windsor police are looking for a suspect after an attempted robbery at a parking lot on Grand Marais Road.

Officers were called to the lot in the 1300 block of Grand Marais Road West around 10 p.m. Thursday.

The victim told police he parked his vehicle in the north end of the parking lot. While walking through he was approached by a male suspect who allegedly demanded that he hand over his wallet.

Police say the victim refused to give him his wallet and there was a brief physical altercation.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics on scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 35 years old, short dark hair, medium build. He was wearing a blue jacket and blue running shoes. He was seen leaving in an older black Chevy Cavalier westbound on Grand Marais Road West.
