Almost a month later, a report on an allegedly dog attack has apparently finally been filed by Windsor police.

Windsor dog owner Quentin Davidson shared his anger after a police report on a dog attack he was involved in was never filed.

Davidson says he was treated in hospital after his hand was bitten when a neighbour's dog attacked his dog on April 30th.

His dog wasn't hurt, but Davidson had to take time off from his job as a chef due to his injury.

He told CTV News he gave his story to police - twice - but the report was never filed.

City bylaw enforcement, which handles things like dog attacks, needs a police report in order to investigate.

After Wednesday's story, an officer visited Davidson and police say a report has been filed and is now in the hands of the bylaw department.
