Essex County OPP officers are looking for help after a series of break-ins at Colchester cottages.

The crimes occurred south of Essex County Road 50 early Saturday morning. Police say several seasonal cottages were entered, several items were stolen and a great deal of property was damaged.

Police believe the suspect(s) stole a vehicle and used it to help commit the crimes.  The vehicle is described as a beige 2009 Dodge Caravan with a personalized Ontario license plate ‘BOUDY.’

OPP are asking for the public’s help finding the van. Police say don’t approach the vehicle, but contact the OPP street crimes unit at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 723-2491 if you have any information.
