Four people have been arrested after a reported stolen Ford Fiesta hit two police cruisers.
Officers were dispatched Tuesday afternoon after a report of a suspect in a vehicle wanted in a number of thefts was spotted heading north on Mercer Street.
Police say the suspect car rammed the two cruisers while trying to get away.
Mercer Street was closed in both directions just north of Tecumseh Road.
The four people arrested are all facing theft-related charges.
Officers are still investigating the incident.
