Fire ripped through a home on County Road 31 in Lakeshore Monday morning.
Kingsville firefighters were called in to assist with the blaze.
OPP closed County Road 31 at County Road 8 as fire crews dealt with the blaze.
Lakeshore Fire Chief Don Williamson says it may be days before a cause is known.
No one was hurt, and the family is staing with relatives nearby for the time being.
The family had just moved into the home in September.
