Three days of intense competition between the world's best divers came to end Sunday at the FINA World Series of Diving in Windsor.

Fans packed the Windsor International Aquatic Centre this weekend to watch some of the best divers in the world.

"You know what, it's been a great show. Things have been running really smoothly," says Mitch Geller of Plongeon Canada.

Officials say the semifinals often have low attendance but that wasn't the case this year.

"We've gotten great support like we always do from the facility, and the crowds have been better than we expected. As I said, we can't complain. The only thing is I wish we had more medals," adds Geller.

China dominated this year.

Going into Sunday's final two events, the team has already taken home eight medals, six of them gold.

But Canada did have a solid showing.

In particular Quebec's Jennifer Abel, who captured two medals.

"I'm really happy about my performance this weekend. I had two bronze medal and fourth place, So I'm really satisfied with that," says Abel.

The sixth and final series goes next week in Mexico.

After that it's the Pan-Am games in Toronto in July.
