Environment Canada has issued a wind chill warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
At the same time, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has issued a cold weather alert for the area. Temperatures are forecast to be at -17 C, but with the wind chill will feel more like -32 C.
The cold weather alert will remain in effect until Thursday, when temperatures are expected to be warmer.
