After weeks of rainy weather and delayed maintenance, City of Windsor parks and recreation officials say baseball fields are opening this Saturday.
Parks and facilities workers have all areas ready, except for John Ivan Stadium at Mic Mac Park.
Soccer fields and cricket grounds are scheduled to open on May 15 weather permitting.
Parks managers will continue to evaluate the field conditions on a daily basis and provide updates, particularly during bad weather.
