The help wanted sign will soon be posted outside a Blenheim factory.

The province has announced an investment of $500,000 for Cross Country Manufacturing to help create 100 new jobs.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Growth says the investment will help increase the company’s export capacity by 70 per cent.

Minister Brad Duguid says “supporting advanced manufacturing in Ontario is one of the ways we are helping to build the province up.”

Cross Country makes trailers for agriculture, construction and logging and mining industries.

Chief Operating Officer Becky Froese says “Ontario’s support is helping Cross Country Manufacturing to enter new markets in the U-S, introduce new products and grow our revenue.”

She adds “this expansion will increase our productivity, allowing us to create good jobs in the new and improved Blenheim facility.”
