The Ambassador Bridge Company is sending some well deserving kids to a Windsor Express playoff game.

About 150 west-end youth and their families are boarding a bus for Saturday night's big game.

It's a partnership between the Sandwich Teen Action Group, the Windsor Express and bridge company.

“They will remember this for their whole life," says Councillor John Elliott.

Three buses have been rented and are set to transport the fans to game two of the conference finals against Brampton.

The event is being organized through the sandwich teen action group.  Many of the kids who frequent the drop-in centre have never been to a professional basketball game, or even the WFCU, often because transportation is too difficult, so this is expected to be a very special night for all attending.

The bridge company says it’s a way to give back to the community.
