The Subway robber has struck again according to Windsor police, after hitting up three of the sandwich restaurants on Tuesday.

The first robbery happened at 204 Lauzon Rd. at 2:45 p.m. About three hours later, a Subway on Tecumseh Road East near Pillette Road was robbed. The final robbery of the day came at another sub shop on Tecumseh Road East and Banwell Road around 9 p.m.

Investigators interviewed workers and reviewed surveillance footage. They say in each instance the man walked into the shops and demanded money from the till. A weapon was never seen.

A police sergeant on the scene told CTV Windsor the robberies appear to have been done by the same man, who allegedly robbed two other Subway Restaurants at the end of July.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old white male, standing 5’9”, with a buzz cut, scruffy beard and blue eyes. The suspect also has tattoos on both forearms.

Authorities ask anyone with information to call Windsor police or to make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.

So far this year, police say 10 Subway Restaurants have been robbed.
