A Ridgetown man is charged, following a two vehicle collision on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
According to Chatham-Kent OPP, officers responded to a collision on eastbound Highway 401 near Communication Road on Thursday just before 2 p.m.
Police say the collision occurred when a Ford vehicle allegedly struck a tractor trailer. The result saw the Ford vehicle travel over the south guard rail and into a ditch.
A passenger of the Ford vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford, Benjamin Goldhawk, 23, is charged with careless driving.
