A 31-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the back and chest, but Windsor police say he is being uncooperative with their investigation.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Wyandotte Street West on Sunday at 3:20 p.m.
Police say citizens were giving first aid to the victim, who was lying on the street. Officers continued to assist with first aid and ambulance arrived seconds later.
The man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the area of Dougall Avenue and Wyandotte Street West. He was with two other males, who were on bicycles.
At some point, the victim was approached by a black male suspect who was also riding a bicycle. Police say the suspect jumped off his bike and confronted the victim.
The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim. The suspect and the other two males took off on their bicycles in separate directions.
The suspect and the victim are known to each other and detectives continue to investigate, although officers say the victim is being uncooperative at this time.
