Windsor police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted for an attempted bank robbery.

Officers say a man entered a Bank of Montreal on Tecumseh Road on Sept. 23.

Police say the suspect threatened a teller and demanded cash while making a motion towards his waistband to convey a weapon.

No weapon was seen however.

Police say the man quickly left without any money.

He's described as a white man in his 50’s, about 5 foot 11, with a skinny build and a scraggy goatee.

He was seen wearing a baseball hat and a black shirt with green writing and blue jeans.
