The Ministry of Transportation is investigating a report of a set of tires coming off a tractor trailer traveling westbound on Highway 401 near Chatham.
Chatham-Kent OPP officers were called about the tires coming off a truck near Charing Cross Road on Feb. 24, just after 12:00 p.m.
Police say the wheels struck a guardrail on the highway. The lone male driver from Brockton did not report any injuries.
MTO attended the scene and have assumed the investigation.
