A 19-year-old Moraviantown, Ont., man has been charged with robbery with a firearm in connection with a theft at a Chatham gas station.
Chatham-Kent police responded to a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station on Keil Drive on Jan. 13 at 4:36 a.m.
Police say two suspects entered the gas station and demanded cash from the employee. Both suspects were wearing disguises and fled the scene with a quantity of cash and merchandise.
The man was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. He will be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Earlier this month, another 19-year-old Moraviantown man and 16-year-old Muncey, Ont., youth were also arrested.
The Muncey teen was charged with robbery with a firearm and wearing a disguise with intent. The Moraviantown man was charged with robbery with a firearm, wearing a disguise with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
