Essex County OPP have charged a Leamington man after he was reportedly stopped while driving a stolen vehicle.
Police say 48-year-old Trevor Pring was arrested Saturday after it was found the vehicle he was driving - a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker - had been reported stolen in Windsor.
Pring was stopped just before 8 p.m. on County Road 20 in the Municipality of Essex. The car had reportedly been stolen an hour and a half earlier.
He has been charged with:
- possession of property obtained by crime
- breach of probation
- drive while disqualified
He was held in custody and was scheduled to appera in court Monday.
