Funeral arrangements have been made for young LaSalle man killed in a single vehicle crash.
Nick Monforton, 19, died last Thursday after his pickup truck crashed into a light pole on Monty Street.
LaSalle Police say Monforton was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Monforton's childhood friend Trisztan Horvath told CTV Windsor he still can't believe the news, and admits he and others are struggling to cope with the loss.
A visitation for Nick Monforton will be held at Families First funeral home in south Windsor on Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Another visitation will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church River Canard with a funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m.
Monforton’s obituary notice says “Nick was proud to have graduated from St. Thomas of Villanova and had just started a new position at Exkor. He loved playing hockey, music and hanging with his countless friends.”
