A multi-vehicle crash in Lakeshore sent five people to hospital Thursday morning.
OPP officers were called to Essex County Road 22, west of Patillo Road in Lakeshore at 6:22 a.m.
Police say a westbound vehicle lost control and entered the eastbound lane of Essex County Road 22, striking four eastbound vehicles and sent two more vehicles into the ditch.
The five people taken hospital had non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation and charges are expected.
