A woman was pulled out of a car that was flipped on its side after going into a ditch near Manning Road and Riverside Drive around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Tecumseh Fire Chief Doug Pitre says crews used the passenger side door, as the car laid on its driver’s side.
The car was filling with water.
Pitre says it’s fortunate nearby residents heard the accident and called emergency crews.
He adds the lone driver was taken by ambulance to Windsor Regional Hospital’s Ouellette Campus.
Her injuries were said to be minor.
