Windsor police say a Dollarama employee told them she was assaulted Friday evening after accusing a woman of taking items.
Around 7:30 p.m. employees at the Tecumseh Road Dollarama told police they noticed a woman trying to take some items and confronted her.
The woman put the goods back and left the store, police say.
She came back later and a Dollarama clerk was outside smoking a cigarette. Police say the suspect was yelling at the female clerk and then allegedly assaulted her on the left side of her head.
The clerk's injuries were minor.
Police say the suspect fled on an e-bike.
She is described as white, with a skin disorder, 20 to 24 years old, five-foot-five, of a medium build, with blond hair in a ponytail and wearing an off white, spaghetti strap shirt and jean shorts.
The e-bike is descibed as white or silver and has a rear plate with the word Monaco on it.
