A bone fragment discovered in Walkerville over the weekend didn't turn out to be human after all.
A forensic anthropologist from the University of Windsor didn't explain to police what the bones were from, but confirmed they're not from a person.
The bones were sent to the Windsor police forensic identification branch after a woman dug up the fragment on Saturday. She made the discovery while she was gardening.
Anthropologists are continuing their investigation into the bone.
