At least 250 kids took part in a family bike festival at The Safety Village in Windsor.
Bike safety was one of the key topics at the event.
Grade 4 students from Eastwood, Forest Glade and Parkview schools enjoyed an escorted bike ride to the village at 12:30 p.m. to view a bike safety video, experience a bike rodeo and a barbecue.
Participants discovered how to stay safe on the roads and paths this summer. They also learned the importance of following the rules of the road and found out more about promoting cycling advocacy in Windsor and Essex County.
