A new survey suggests accessibility is the number one concern for the location of a new mega hospital.

Over the past two weeks, Windsor Regional Hospital conducted an online survey asking the participants to review draft criteria being considered for site selection of a new state-of-the-art acute care hospital.

Number one concern on the list is proximity to EMS, police, patient transfer, and disaster preparedness. This was followed by parking potential and transit route.

An 11 member committee is now in the process of selecting a site for the facility.
