Alana Hadadean
Born and raised in Windsor, Alana is a graduate of Wayne State University with a Communications degree in Television & Radio Broadcasting and a Liberal Arts degree in Romance Languages with a major in Italian.
Alana started her television career in 1998 as a host of two local Cogeco Cable 11 television programs; 'The Italian Carousel' and 'Plugged In'.
During her scholastic career, Alana interned at Fox 2 News in Detroit and Access Hollywood in California.
While completing her university degrees, Alana started working at CBC Windsor in 2000 as an Associate Director shortly there after taking on the role of Entertainment Reporter.
Alana is no stranger to CHWI, she worked as a Writer and Reporter/Videographer for the Morning Show and evening newscasts from 2007-2009.
Most recently, Alana worked as a Weather Anchor for CBC Windsor from 2010-2014.
Alana joins CTV as a Reporter and says "Being able to share local stories and inform the community in my hometown is an honour for me."
In her spare time, Alana enjoys spending time with her husband, Zalan and 3 young and very energetic boys.
