The Windsor Stars will now be known as Windsor TFC as the soccer club has announced a new partnership with Toronto FC of Major League Soccer.
The partnership is aimed at seeing the two organizations work together to build a “model professional and amateur sport partnership.
Toronto FC will provide support for Windsor TFC as a regional satellite club providing coaching development at the youth level.
Windsor coaches will get the chance to visit Toronto FC’s Kia Training Grounds several times per year.
