If you notice some of your favourite sculptures missing from the city’s riverfront, don’t be alarmed.
City crews are temporarily removing the pieces for regular maintenance. Both the "Penguins of the Waterfall" and the "Craft" will take a leave from The Sculpture Garden.
The 18-foot high chicken from “Chicken and Egg” was recently removed for conservation work, and will return in the fall.
The Sculpture Garden is home to more than 30 internationally recognized works of contemporary art.
The area of the waterfront was developed through donations from the Odette Family.
