Chatham-Kent OPP have released more details about three truck drivers involved in yesterday’s crash on Highway 401 near Tilbury.

A 50-year-old Cottam man was airlifted to hospital after three tractor trailers collided on the 401 near County Road 42 around 12 p.m.

The driver of the first truck was a 60-year-old man from Binbrook, Ont. and second driver was a 54-year-old from Kitchener.   

They were not injured.

Police say the Cottam man was driving the third truck, which struck the rear of the second transport.

He had non-life threatening injuries.  

The third driver’s name is being withheld pending the possibility of applicable charges.
