The owners of a music hall in Grande Pointe, Ont., are paying tribute to Stompin’ Tom Connors with a wood carving.
Brian Chute and Gary Pryor were hoping the musician would be able to sign the carving at the St.Phillippes Music Hall.
But Connors, 77, passed away a week ago from natural causes. His memorial service is taking place Wednesday in Peterbourgh. Pryor’s sister was attending the service.
Chute and Pryor are planning a music extravaganza on the Victoria Day weekend.
