Severe damage and unsafe conditions mean fire officials are unable to investigate the cause of a fire at a vacant home on Indian Road.
The fire began sometime after 9:30 Tuesday evening at 768 Indian Road.
Several fire crews were on scene and were only able to conduct an exterior attack on the fire due to the conditions.
Compromised floors and multiple roof layers made battling the fire difficult.
Windsor fire officials reported that the blaze was out by 11:30 p.m., but due to safety concerns and the extensive damage to the home and investigation was deemed not possible.
