Another parking and safety blitz was held Wednesday morning at two Windsor schools.

Parking enforcement officers attended Walkerville High School on Richmond Street at around 8:15 a.m.

They were also checking vehicles at St. Anne French Immersion School on Monmouth Road.

Enforcement officers issued 32 tickets during the 45-minute blitz in the area surrounding both schools.

The blitz was carried out in an effort to crackdown on the illegal stopping and parking that has been reducing site lines for drivers and making walking unsafe for pedestrians.

Officers will be back in the area this afternoon at 2 p.m.

Nearly 50 tickets have been issued in two similar blitzes in September.
