Windsor ranks low on quality of life for women

A new study finds that Windsor is one of the worst Canadian cities for women to live in when it comes to quality of life.

Windsor ranks 22nd out of 25 Canadian cities studied by the research institute the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.

The cities were ranked based on data from Statistics Canada comparing men and women’s quality of life in five areas: economic, education, health, leadership and personal security.

At the top of the list is Victoria B.C. followed by Gatineau Quebec in second. London is the highest Ontario city on the list with Barrie close behind in the eighth spot.

At the bottom of the list is the Waterloo region in southwestern Ontario, while Calgary and Edmonton were ranked 23^rd and 24^th respectively.
