Two Oshawa men are facing charges for allegedly enticing an 18-year-old woman into dancing at a Windsor adult entertainment club and coercing her to engage in acts of prostitution in Toronto.

The Windsor police morality unit started an investigation in March after receiving complaints from the woman.

Police issued arrest warrants for the men on May 13 and they were both arrested in the Toronto area last week.

Jerome Barron Dorsey, 25, is charged with trafficking in persons.

Merrick Anthony Dennis, 27, is charged with trafficking in persons and exploitation.

This is the first time Windsor police have used this legislation.

Police believe there may be other victims of human trafficking in Windsor. Anyone with information can call police at (519)-255-6700 ext. 4344 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (519)-258-TIPS (8477).
