A Windsor law firm has launched a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the federal government on behalf of victims, who say Health Canada violated their privacy.
Sharon Strosberg of Sutts Strosberg tells CTV News, the firm is seeking $240-million on behalf of two individuals following Health Canada’s privacy violation of medical marijuana users.
Health Canada earlier this month sent out letters to 40,000 people containing a large return address reading "Marijuana Medical Access Program."
Strosberg say her firm is representing a male residing in Essex County and a young woman who resides in Ottawa.
