Windsor police say a 49-year-old man received a gunshot wound to his head and a number of lacerations to his scalp during a violent home invasion.
Investigators say two men entered a home in the 800 block of Langlois Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Monday.Three people were inside the residence when a physical confrontation took place.The suspects fled the scene after the altercation, taking nothing.
The victim was transported to hospital where he underwent surgery. He is expected to survive and is presently listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20’s, about 5’7” tall, with a medium build, shaved head, darker skin, wearing a black jacket with a fur lined hood and grey jogging pants.
The second is described as possibly a white male, in his early 20’s, about 5’7” tall, slim build wearing a grey hoody and black ball cap.
Major crimes unit is continuing the investigation and have interviewed a number of witnesses of to the attack which investigators say was a targeted, drug related occurrence.
