A seven-year-old Windsor girl is improving in hospital after surviving a house fire last month.
The fire broke out at 1680 Balfour Blvd. around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 24, sending the girl and her mother to hospital.
The girl was airlifted to a London hospital where she was in serious condition with burns to her face, hands, feet and torso.
On Friday, she had improved to fair condition.
A GoFundMe account has been set up called Prayers for Isabel. As of Friday afternoon $7,195 had been raised.
The girl's mother also suffered burns. An 11-month-old baby in the home was not harmed.
Police believe the fire was intentionally set.
Kenneth Kormendy, 43, from Windsor is charged with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of arson causing bodily harm and one count of arson with disregard for human life.
He was in court Friday for a bail hearing.
