A funeral will be held this weekend for a Windsor boy who died in a head-on crash in Saskatchewan.
Abraham McKee, 12, was killed when the minivan he was in collided with a tractor trailer on Highway 89 near Wilcox, Sask., south of Regina.
McKee was travelling with his mother as part of his blended family, coming back from visiting relatives in Edmonton to get their minds off the death of his sister Kayla, who passed away in January from medical conditions related to her severe disabilities.
His parents describe Abraham as being funny with no sense of fear, since he loved jumping ramps and doing back flips on their trampoline.
But they also say he was caring and loved spending time with his baby sisters.
Abraham also loved sports, especially baseball. His favorite movie was the sandlot and he joked that one day he would make the pros, and be the highest paid bench warmer.
A visitation for Abraham McKee will be held at families first at 7 p.m. Friday.
His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow afternoon at the City Church on Howard Avenue.
