The Town of Amherstburg is expecting an update on its financial situation Monday night.
A representative from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs is expected to attend the town council meeting.
Councillor John Sutton says he's expecting a financial management and practice review to be delivered ahead of schedule.
The report was not anticipated until September.
The review will provide insight into the town's books, which currently hold $40 million in debt.
