Teaching and graduate assistants at the University of Windsor have a tentative deal.
The contract was reached during negotiations with a provincial conciliator Thursday evening.
Members of CUPE Local 4580 voted to strike back in March. Members have been without a collective agreement since August 2013 and talks have been on and off since.
There's no word on when the vote will take place
The university’s president has gone on record saying savings must be found in areas such as salaries in order to hold the line on spending.
